Trivia
- Marilyn Manson confesses in his autobiography The Long Hard Road Out of Hell that "I was never happy with our demos, which Scott always recorded, because we sounded like a tinny industrial band and I imagined us playing rawer, more immediate punk rock."[1]
- "Antichrist Superstar", "Mechanical Animals" and "Holy Wood (In the Shadow of the Valley of Death)" are all part of the triptych — a trilogy of concept albums released by the band.
- "The Dope Show" is the band's most successful single.
