The second annual Slammie Awards Show took place at Plus 5 Lounge in Davie, Florida, on July 15, 1993. Listed as a recent Interscope/Nothing Records signee, Marilyn Manson won for Song of the Year with (Dope Hat) and took home the Grand Slammie - the Band of the Year trophy. Winners received a ceramic skull with their name and award engraved in a plate on the forehead.[1] Marilyn Manson is not listed as performing.
