Since I'm quite new to this whole wiki stuff I'm not sure yet how to appoint an admin, but having someone in the team that knows his way on a wiki and actually contributes to it sounds great. So yes, you're in as soon as I find out how, lol.
I think discussing matters like these on here aren't the best way, so if you have MSN messenger please add me (msn [at] or drop me an email at the same address. Litso

if all went well you're a sysop now. good luck.
that is the right address indeed, I removed it because I get enough spam as it is. I haven't seen the add yet though.

Server Changes[edit]

Hey, I hadn't noticed the damage in page titles yet. I just fixed , are there more pages that need title fixes? Litso 17:25, 9 June 2007 (CEST)
I'll try and fix the Lécheuse image too, I already fixed the page indeed.
If any page is missing the old ones can still be found at Litso 17:41, 9 June 2007 (CEST)
Sounds good. I noticed the two erroneous pages before, I'll try to delete them from the database tonight but I'll have to make a new backup first. At least we now know apart from a few pagetitles restoring the database works so if anything goes wrong we'll only have to fix the four pages again.
I'm planning to add a few of my bootlegs too, I have about 30. To make sure we don't do double work I'll start with the image cover every time so in the Recent Changes you'll be able to see which bootleg I'm working on.
Thanks again for all the hard work! We're starting to get a nice amount of pageviews so hopefully other people will join in soon too! (stats are found here: [1]) Litso 03:10, 10 June 2007 (CEST)
Which other contributers? lol.
I'm taking the edits you made to my bootleg pages as an example, it's obvious you just have that little more perspective in the way a wikipage should be built up. I like it. Hopefully my next one will need less revisions :P Litso 04:22, 10 June 2007 (CEST)
What I meant was that the lesser you have to correct, the less work we have to 'waste' on inconsistencies (sp?). And you're right, contributions will come with more visitors, it just needed a good start like this.
Haha, you're totally right about how the wiki was when it started. People at the 'phant just thought it would be nice to have a wiki so I started one, dumped some info so everybody had something to edit, but hardly anything happened... And there's yet a lot to do indeed. For instance I noticed you added all the paintings but they're all still unlinked. An overview of paintings would make a lot more pages accessible, and listings of other things like covered Manson tracks, merchandise, that kind of stuff would open up a whole new world of pages for people to add. I'll look into that after a good night's sleep, it's getting light already. I think you infected me with the wiki-craze, lol.

Liner Notes[edit]

Yeah, I've added a few too today, and all of them are copied exactly from the original booklets. I own at least one version of every single except for 'Rock is Dead' and the rare ones like 'Coma White', although I do own some other promo versions, so all credits I'll be adding to singles pages in the future will contain the original texts as printed in the booklets. Uploading scans would be great, but I'm actually considering installing image gallery software on a separate section of the site (e.g. for all photos, scans and whatever is available on Manson, allowing people to upload pics themselves and some kind of new way of tagging I'm trying to work out to improve indexing and searching through large galleries. It would be nice to create a platform for covers and other artwork we can blend in with the wiki, so we don't necessarily have to post them all on the actual wikipages.

ah, I see now you reverted the Beautiful People, which you were probably referring to

The Long Hard Road Out Of Hell[edit]

Nah, I think you're right about the copyright. I've been thinking about it myself too, I do plan on taking the book and adding every little interesting fact to their right pages. But to transcribe it would definitely break the copyright laws, if we did that we could as well link to downloads of albums and DVD's. I don't want to risk losing this website over such copyright issues. Litso 17:55, 14 June 2007 (CEST)

Exactly, and even quoting some interesting parts would be okay I guess as long as it's clearly stated as a quote. The credits and some images would definitely be allowed. As soon as I find the book (I'm moving so it's somewhere in the bottom box probably) I'm going to see what I think would be useful to post.
Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm going to look into that, it'd be cool if we could post it.

Fun Facts and Other Revelations[edit]

I like what you did with the Main page. I've been browsing around at the NIN wiki yesterday, which inspired me to at least add the quick links, but the way you restyled it is great. I even more like the cover gallery on the POAAF page, that's really awesome. I wish I had a scanner so I could start scanning all my stuff, I finally got the 4-track enhanced single of Heart-Shaped Glasses today which would be something that people would really come and take a look for, but unfortunately my last scanner went FUBAR. I'm also in the middle of moving my stuff to my new appartment so I don't have much time to add stuff the next few days, but I'll definitely resume adding my bootlegs soon, and see if I can find The Long Hard Road too. Thanks again for all the stuff you do for the wiki! Litso 22:45, 15 June 2007 (CEST)

Random question[edit]

Heys :) I was wondering if there was somewhere I could hear your music and such, like a myspace page or something. It's just got me curious and I'm always up for listening to new music. Powerslave 02:35, 20 June 2007 (CEST)

User name change[edit]

Hey, no not a problem at all. I just tried what happens if you change a username in the database but that doesn't quite work. Just re-register and I'll see if I can find out how I made you sysop the last time :P Litso 11:07, 5 August 2007 (CEST)

It'll be done before you wake up. Good night!

Singles version template[edit]

What do you think? Litso 14:26, 21 January 2008 (CET)

Thanks for cleaning up some of the content I added. Copy editing is not my strong point. If it gets to be too much work, let me know...

Transylvanian Regurgitations[edit]

Why are you deleting the above page? It contains information regarding a Marilyn Manson-related release, originally created from a red link - so obviously someone was looking for information on said release.

I suggest you either recreate above page or fix the the formatting in the 'Collaborations' section of the Discography page to remove any red linkage, instead of copying paragraphs that other people wrote and creating your own pages.

Thank you.

Copy of album, Isani Griffith[edit]

I actually don't want to win a copy of the album because i'm going to go out to buy it the day it comes out and it would just be a burden to win it. I was going to tell Litso to give it who ever was in second if I did win. Doing work on wiki's isn't my strong point, at all. I was going to start working on the Article yesterday but I decided not to because I figured I could do it the next day because I was quite lazy that day. BTW, I do agree it looks much cleaner from my work, I'll just leave it to you I guess.

Mechanical Animals release date[edit]

It came out on the 15th in the US. ;)
Every where I check it says it comes out on the 15th in the US.

Disposable Teens Lyrics[edit]

And they are clearly wrong...

I don't think that we should go by what the liner notes say for the lyrics, we should go by what is correct.

Pretty as as Swastika[edit]

I'm positive that it's "from the inside". 100%, I can prove it once we get the booklet... lol - Cult Killer

Fuckin World Industreal[edit]

Hey... I found out that you're the person who uploaded the images of the Fuckin World Industreal manga a while back. I wanted to thank you for that, I'm a bit of a manga fan (more into basic American comics though) and it was REALLY awesome to see the members depicted in Japanese comic form. Be awesome if we could get someone to translate it though, but oh well.

Edit War[edit]

Reply: If you for some reason feel the need to put your spin on the biography of Sara Lee Lucas, then you should feel the need to commit to facts and research. If you would like to be in touch with his publicist just email me and I can make an official Q&A session happen so that the rewrite is accurate, detailed, and factual, as an encyclopedia-type document should be. However, Mansonwiki has already made arrangements to interview Sara Lee Lucas himself so why don't you just step back and leave it to them to edit it after their interview takes place? -Misscandycorn

Your revisions are simply not accurate, the dates are wrong, and the wording is poor. While the old version may not have been "aesthetically pleasing", and could have used an update as to current information from last few months it was informative and backed up with many links and properly cited sources, none of which were dead links. Why did it need changing in the first place? You did not bring any new light to the subject. You removed relevant information and botched facts. Unfortunately it is not my job to keep up with undoing your edits, so the matter has been brought to the attention of Sara Lee Lucas' publicist and the administration of this website. Lets just leave it to them.

Add this concert[edit]
