On July 31, 2025, a funeral was held in Birmingham for Ozzy Osbourne, one of the founding fathers of modern heavy metal. Marilyn Manson and his wife, Lindsay Warner, Rob Zombie, Slipknot's Corey Taylor, and Zakk Wylde, best known as Ozzy Osbourne's longtime lead guitarist, attended the private service to pay their respects to one of the most influential musicians of our time.

Ozzy Osbourne's work, as well as that of Black Sabbath, had a profound impact on the artistic development of Marilyn Manson both as a performer and as a band.

Osbourne passed away on July 22, 2025, after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. His final concert with Black Sabbath, titled Back to the Beginning, took place on July 5, 2025, at Villa Park stadium in Aston, very near the place where the band was formed in 1968.
