The Chew Fu Ghettohouse Fix of Lady Gaga's "LoveGame" was produced by Chew Fu. For the remix, Marilyn Manson also contributed his own vocals for the bridges and chorus. Initially released as a digital download in 2009, the Chew Fu Ghettohouse Fix was reissued later that year on the digital Chew Fu compilation HitMixes before appearing on an official Lady Gaga release, The Remix, on March 3, 2010.

Background

Collaborations between Marilyn Manson and Lady Gaga were first reported in a 2009 issue of Rolling Stone, which contained interviews with both artists. In Manson's featurette, the singer was asked about his view on Gaga's music, to which he responded, "She knows what she's doing." Indeed, it was revealed that Manson and Gaga had worked together in a studio to produce remixes of each other's then-current singles, Gaga's "LoveGame" and Marilyn Manson's "Arma-goddamn-motherfuckin-geddon", although the latter has yet to see release.

The Chew Fu Ghettohouse Fix of "LoveGame" was leaked on June 11, 2009, where it appeared as a stream on Perez Hilton's blog. During the same week, on June 17, it was given proper release on the iTunes Store. In November of the same year it was released on the Chew Fu compilation HitMixes, before seeing release several months later in March 2010 by Lady Gaga herself, on the compilation The Remix.

 

Live

Lady Gaga has on occasion sampled the Chew Fu Ghettohouse Fix as an outro to her live performances of "LoveGame", where she duets with Manson's pre-recorded (see 3:15 onward in the following video).
