The performance on May 23, 2007 took place at Radio 1 in London, England. Marilyn Manson and Tim Skold appeared on UK radio station Radio 1's Live Lounge to discuss Eat Me, Drink Me, and performed two acoustic songs; one a rendition of "Heart-Shaped Glasses (When the Heart Guides the Hand)" and the other a Justin Timberlake cover titled "What Goes Around.../...Comes Around (Interlude)".[1] Also a recurring joke among the interviewer and Manson was Manson's choice of leather pants worn that day.

  2. "What Goes Around.../...Comes Around (Interlude)"

What Goes Around.../...Comes Around (Interlude)[edit]

When artists visit BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, they are usually offered to perform their latest single acoustically as well as a cover of a current, popular song that's usually on the other side of the spectrum as far as genre. What Goes Around.../...Comes Around (Interlude) was chosen to be performed due to the irony in the song content when applied to real-life situations. It was a selected choice from this set of options:

  • "Rehab", originally by Amy Winehouse from her 2007 album Back to Black
  • "Knights of Cydonia", originally by Muse from their 2006 album Black Holes and Revelations
  • "What Goes Around.../...Comes Around (Interlude)", originally by Justin Timberlake from his 2006 album FutureSex/LoveSounds
